Brief Introduction: Pedro Cabral (PC) is a Geospatial Information Environmentalist. Currently he is Full Professor at Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology (NUIST) - School of Remote Sensing and Geomatics Enginering since 2023. He earned a PhD Applied Mathematics to Social Sciences at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), Paris, France. He was a post-doc Researcher at UMR AMURE (Ifremer-UBO, Brest) where he worked in marine and terrestrial ecosystem services. Currently, he is teaching Observing Earth from Space and Introduction to Earth System Sciences to PhD students. His research interests are Ecosystem Services, Remote Sensing and Geographical Information Systems. He is associate editor of the Journal of Urban Planning and Development (ASCE), topic editor of Big Earth Data and editorial board member of Discover Data (Springer), and Geographies (MDPI). He is a committee member for major international conferences including GISc, AGILE and IGARSS.

Prof. Yanni Dong Wuhan University, China

Brief Introduction: Dong Yanni is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Resources and Environmental Sciences, Wuhan University, and a recipient of the National Outstanding Young Scientist Fund. Her research focuses on intelligent interpretation of remote sensing imagery and applications of geospatial intelligence. She has published over 60 SCI-indexed papers in international journals such as IEEE TIP, IEEE TCybern, IEEE TGRS, and ISPRS. She serves as an Associate Editor for the SCI-indexed journals IEEE TGRS and IEEE GRSL, and on the senior program committees of international image analysis conferences such as ICCV, AAAI, and IJCAI. She is also a Senior Member of the IEEE, Vice Chairman of the IEEE GRSS Wuhan Chapter, Vice Chairman of the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Club of the Chinese Society of Image and Graphics, and a Director of the Hubei Association of Women Scientists and Technologists. She has received the Shi Qingyun Female Scientist Award from the Chinese Society of Image and Graphics, the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Nomination Award from the Chinese Society of Image and Graphics, and the Xiangjiang Scholar Award. She has directed over ten research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, including Excellent Young Scientists Program, General Program, and Youth Program.

Prof. Yi Wang China University of Geosciences, China

| Brief Introduction: Wang Yi, professor and doctoral supervisor, currently leads the "Earth Information Science and Technology" program, a first-class undergraduate program in Hubei Province. He was selected for the China University of Geosciences' "Cradle Program" in 2011, the Wuhan Chenguang Young Science and Technology Talent Program in 2013, and the "Earth University Scholars" Young Top Talent Program in 2020. In 2022, he was invited to serve as a distinguished expert at the Henan Natural Resources Science and Technology Innovation Center. For two consecutive years, from 2023 to 2024, he was named to the "World's Top 2% Scientists" annual scientific impact rankings jointly published by Stanford University and Elsevier. His main research interests include remote sensing of disasters, spatiotemporal analysis and prediction of geological hazards, intelligent processing of geoscience information, and remote sensing monitoring of the geological environment. |
